Marilyn Nutter is a former speech-language pathologist who
was a college faculty member in communication disorders and a practicing SLP
for over twenty-five years. In 2003, she sensed God calling her to leave the
classroom and pursue a career in writing and speaking. In addition to Devotions
to Go books, Marilyn has been a contributor to several compilations including
Chicken Soup for the Mother of Preschooler’s Soul, Laundry Tales to Lighten
Your Load and The Ultimate Mom.
Marilyn has served as a Mentor-Mom for MOPS and a Bible study teacher.
Her additional experience includes retreat speaker and presentations to
community and church women’s groups on various tea, friendship and Bible
topics. She was a partner for several years in Shepherd’s Cup, a ministry which
gave lectures and workshops on “tea” and designed to nurture the friendships of
women.
Marilyn and her husband recently relocated from PA to North Carolina. They have
three grown daughters and four delightful grandchildren. As a baby boomer
grandma and full time writer, Marilyn especially enjoys guiding women to find
extraordinary treasures in ordinary and challenging days. Visit Marilyn’s
